Roger has over 29 years of experience in furniture restoration and French polishing. He has a wealth of experience and expertise in the trade and studied cabinet making at Birmingham Polytechnic. Following this he went on to teach furniture restoration and wood finishing at Warwickshire College for 17 years.
R Rowberry Restoration was first started in Leamington Spa by Richard Rowberry before the First World War. Now run by his Great Grandson Roger Rowberry the firm has been passed down and he is the fourth generation maintaining family tradition.

Son of Richard Rowberry, Ralph was a distinguished cabinet maker and wood carver, Ralph Rowberry is remembered as a staunch churchman, being server and church warden at St. Alban's Church, Leamington Spa. He was also a sergeant in the Home Guard and received the rare distinction of a certificate of good service with devotion to duty from the Commander-in-Chief, Western Command. It was the only such certificate awarded in the area.

Roy was the son of Ralph and a practiced cabinet maker and wood carver who maintained the family tradition.
Some of the Rowberry's work can be seen around Leamington Spa and surrounding areas such as in the Lady Chapel of All Saints' Church, the pulpit at Thurlaston and work at St. Anne's Church in Epwell.
The Rowberrys also made the masonic chair in Guys Lodge, Leamington Spa. They also made all the fittings when the Public Library Avenue Road was opened to the public.
